Tape Unravels. Liquid Rubber Doesn't.

You wrap the joint, tape it tight, and it holds — for a season. Then the sun, the heat, or the engine vibration gets to it. The edge lifts. Moisture creeps in. And you're back at the same connection with the same roll of tape.

Introducing Liquid Insulation Tape — a brush-on elastic rubber that cures into a seamless, waterproof dielectric skin right over the joint. No wrapping. No edges to lift. No gaps.

Why It Beats a Roll of Tape

  • Seals shapes tape can't wrap — brush it straight over connectors, terminals, split joints and odd angles where tape leaves gaps
  • Keeps water and damp off the connection — cures into a tight waterproof layer, so moisture and corrosion stay out of the copper
  • Stays flexible instead of going brittle — moves with vibration and temperature swings rather than cracking at the joint
  • Built for outdoor exposureUV-resistant, weather-resistant finish for garden wiring, pumps, bike and car looms
  • Nothing to cut, stretch or hold — brush or nozzle it on one-handed, even in a tight junction box
  • Build it as thick as the job needs — layer 2–3 coats over heavy-duty joints for extra dielectric protection
  • Grips almost everything — bonds to metal, plastic, vinyl, rubber and composite surfaces

Where People Use It Most

  • Household repairs — frayed appliance cords, extension leads, switch and socket terminals
  • Automotive & two-wheeler — wiring harnesses, headlight and horn connections, battery terminals
  • Outdoor & garden — sprinkler pumps, bilge pumps, exposed garden wiring, outdoor lighting
  • Electronics work — circuit boards, semiconductor components, USB and data cable strain points
  • Colour coding — mark phases and circuits so the next person opening the box knows what's what [confirm available colours]

How To Apply It

  1. Switch off the power at the mains and confirm the wire is dead.
  2. Clean and fully dry the joint — the coating grips best on a dry surface.
  3. Brush a thin, even coat over the connection and slightly past it on both sides.
  4. Let it set, then add a second and third coat for heavy-duty or outdoor joints.
  5. Allow up to 4 hours for a full cure. Restore power only once the coating is completely dry and firm.

Safety note: Never apply to a live circuit. Not a substitute for correct wiring, proper connectors, or professional work on high-voltage installations.

Common Questions

Can I use it over an existing PVC tape wrap?
Yes. Remove any loose or lifting tape first, then coat over the rest for a sealed outer layer.

How long before I can switch the power back on?
Allow up to 4 hours for a full cure. Touch-dry is not fully cured — wait for the coating to feel firm all the way through.

Will it hold up in heavy rain and direct sun?
It's formulated as a waterproof, UV-resistant outdoor coating. For fully submerged or permanently soaked joints, use a proper sealed enclosure as well.

Does it work on thick cables?
Yes — build up 2–3 coats for thicker gauges and outdoor runs instead of one heavy coat.

Can I paint or coat over it once dry?
Yes, once fully cured the surface accepts a top layer without affecting the seal underneath.
